Cedarwood House Concert Series
We (Jeff and Susan Chumley) have been opening our home to musicians and music lovers since 2015. All we ask is that you read the information below and follow the very short list of rules that will help us make it a fun evening for everyone.
It’s really important for us to know who is coming. We can seat 56. We can’t seat 57. If you are coming, let us know. If you decide to bring someone, check to see if we have space!
Please park only on our side of the road. It’s the neighborly thing to do.
Fill up the driveway first! (but don’t block anyone in.)
If it’s dry and we expect a lot of people Signage will direct you to park on the lawn.
The event page will state whether or not there is a potluck. If there is one, it usually starts an hour before the show but sometimes on Saturdays we’ll kick it off a bit earlier. We will provide a big pot of something Vegan friendly but tasty for everyone (Just ask anyone about our Vegan Chili!) We also provide a beer and wine starter selection and plenty of sodas.
Please bring sides, desserts, beer, wine, chips/dips etc.

Ask! It’s totally at the performers discretion.
Selling tickets would make us subject to a lot of zoning and other regulations. Being a house concert makes us a party. Woo hoo! But the performers are trying to make a living so we suggest a donation. The specific amount will be listed on the concert page but remember, it all goes to the performers! If you want to attend but can’t afford the donation that’s OK. We don’t want to exclude anyone.
The performers often sell CDs or other merchandise. Please buy it if you like it. Again, it all goes to the performers. If you like them, help them keep performing.
Behave. Be nice. Be our guest.
